If You’re a Fan of The National, You’re Going to Love This!

We’re having a silent auction to benefit MASS MoCA and Hawthorne Valley Association, a Hudson Valley nonprofit organization committed to healthy soil, healthy children, and a healthy planet. Items can be viewed in MASS MoCA’s lobby on Saturday, June 11, from 11 am until 4:30 pm, and online now.

Winners will be announced at a sold-out cocktail party with The National on June 11, at 7 pm.

Made for players who say “I get it,” this retro-refined guitar was owned by guitarist Aaron Dessner of the American rock band The National, and played in the making of Trouble Will Find Me, the album that Rolling Stone called the “best record of their career.” The black vintage-style guitar evokes classic looks and is signed by the five members of the band.
