From our stages to our studios, an essential and integral part of MASS MoCA’s mission is supporting performing arts creation and presentation.
Live events staged year-round include popular music, contemporary dance, alternative cabaret, world music dance parties, outdoor silent films with live music, documentaries, avant-garde theater, and music festivals. Just as vital is the work behind the scenes, nurturing the creation of new work by offering excellent infrastructure and top-notch professional support and facilities for artists in residence.
