“Unpredictable, theatrical and full of funk, soul, hip-hop, jazz and spoken word freshness – Tank and the Bangas, who broke out as the winners of NPR’s first-ever Tiny Desk Concert contest, might not be able to describe the sounds they emit – but it is beautiful nonetheless” (Okayplayer). This is one of the finest party bands on the planet, coming off like a latter-day Sly and the Family Stone.
