Assets for Artists

The Assets for Artists program continues this summer with a slate of brand new professional development workshops for artists to improve the business elements of their creative practice. We’ll have new offerings on grant writing, designing your own wellness plan, and becoming a teaching artist. We’ll also bring back artist favorites like “Taxes for Artists” with Amy Smith, “Artist Contracts” with Shey Rivera Ríos, and “Crowdfunding for Artist Projects” with Laura Christensen. Thirteen online workshops, plus two in-person–returning for the first time in three years! Assets for Artists serves creatives in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, although some workshops may have additional geographic limitations.
