M.A.K.U. Soundsystem

Come for Community Day (free admission for all visitors!) and stay for the fiery rhythms of M.A.K.U. Soundsystem, an immigrant band formed in NYC that mashes Colombian folklore, psychedelic rock, and Caribbean grooves using traditional percussion, drums, synths, bass, guitar, and sizzling horns.

This event will be “up in the club” with general admission lounge seating. First! Come early to visit the museum. The galleries are open – and teeming with activity – from 10am–7pm. The museum is open for Community Day 2019! Planning on dinner before the show?
