Inspired by composer Igor Stravinsky’s 1919 “Firebird Suite”, Touki Delphine presents FIREBIRD, a rule-breaking concert program and an extraterrestrial installation in one — including an “orchestra” concepted entirely of light. Free viewings will occur on the hour throughout the day.

ELEVATOR MUSIC
Building 4 / 5 Elevator
Our very own staff, community members, and local artists will pop-up in our freight elevator with a number of short sets throughout Free Day.

WHERE I END & YOU BEGIN
An immersive audiowalk for two people

Building 10, 2nd Floor
Be the first to experience MASS MoCA through a new lens with Where I End & You Begin, an immersive audiowalk for two people. Bring your headphones for an intimate journey that will guide you and one companion through MASS MoCA via a location-aware app for your phone. The two of you will travel through the museum’s spaces on a synchronized path that will shift your experience of the world around you. Presented as a work-in-progress by resident artists John Bechtold & Alli Ross; co-produced with Eggtooth Productions (Greenfield, MA); score by Sam V. Perry. Advance reservations at capacity.
