Deep funk beats and bass-heavy sousaphone blasts mix with the gritty warmth of singer J’Wan Boudreaux’s voice to create an irresistible New Orleans brass band-meets-Mardi Gras Indian sound. The Grammy-nominated Cha Wa radiates the fiery energy of the best features of Big Easy street culture.
What to Expect
In good weather, we dance outside in our concert courtyard. Grab dinner in downtown North Adams or here on campus before the show. Our bar is always well-stocked with Bright Ideas Brewing beers and Berkshire Mountain Distillery spirits. MASS MoCA strives to provide the best possible experience for all our visitors, for information about accessibility at ticketed events click here.
