“They are the kinds of perfect, instantly familiar pop songs that echo in the background of your dreams.” — The New Yorker
Born from outsider origins and indie pop, Car Seat Headrest has evolved from the homespun solo-project of Will Toledo to a four-piece outfit that generates intricate masterworks of pop music and draws comparisons to everyone from the Beach Boys to Pavement. See the internet’s finest IRL, when Car Seat Headrest combines forces with Naked Giants for a night of postmodern punk, enigmatic witticisms, and irresistibly head-banging tunes.
What to expect
This concert is general admission, standing room only. The preferred ticket area is located at the front of the venue. Several full bars will serve Bright Idea Brewing beers and Berkshire Mountain Distillery spirits. All “Preferred Ticket” holders receive free museum admission on the day of or day after the show.
Planning on dinner before the show? Our museum café, Lickety Split, will serve up grass-fed beef burgers, paninis, flatbreads, crispy greens salads, and homemade quiche.
