To stem the immigration tide, Mexico and the U.S. collaborate to crack down on migrants, forcing them into ever more dangerous territory. Border South reveals the immigrants’ resilience, ingenuity, and humor as it exposes a global migration system that renders human beings invisible in life as well as death. Following the screening join us for a Q&A with filmmakers and invited guests.

Producer Ellen Knechel, Williams College Professor of Political Science Cheryl Shanks, and Maureen Blennerhassett of the Berkshire Immigrant Center will join us for a conversation after Border South.
