Amanda Lovelee creates immersive artworks around the U.S. to influence government at the local and national levels with a focus on climate justice. Her newest commission made with MASS MoCA, Homecoming, envisions the MASS MoCA campus as a symbolic micro field station for two trees-in-residence participating in assisted plant migration, a technology used to introduce trees to new ways of surviving and thriving in a warming climate.
Join us in welcoming these two trees to their residency and help us cheer on their resilience during MASS MoCA’s first Pep Rally for the Trees!
All ages are welcome, with kid friendly art-making and performances by regional marching bands.
