Co-presented with Jacob’s Pillow Dance
New York’s beloved choreographer Okwui Okpokwasili pulled you through an ancestral fever dream shared between four women mysteriously linked through time and fractured memories.
The presentation of Poor People’s TV Room by Okwui Okpokwasili was made possible by the New England Foundation for the Arts’ National Dance Project, with lead funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
This program was supported in part by the Irene Hunter Fund for Dance at MASS MoCA in association with Jacob’s Pillow Dance.
