With electronica flourishes slithering around organic grooves, huge horn parts, and surprising arrangements, Rubblebucket is one of the most experimental — and fun — dance bands to emerge in the last decade. Frontwoman Kalmia Traver and bandleader Alex Toth, who met at UVM and cut their teeth in the stalwart reggae group John Brown’s Body, lead the charge. The party follows.
