MASS MoCA has partnered with the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition in a community engagement project involving the billboards near the Porches Inn on River Street. This long-term project involves using the billboards to promote a sense of neighborhood identity and values (in correlation with the nearby UNO Park and Community Center) as well as to inform the public about visual arts at MASS MoCA.
