In their latest endeavor PARLOUR GAME, violinist Jenny Scheinman and drummer Allison Miller — most recently at MASS MoCA with her propulsive Boom Tic Boom! — dig into the rootsier elements of jazz along with formidable pianist Carmen Staaf and bassist Tony Scherr. From the classic format of the piano quartet, they explore swing, gogo, backbeats, and ballads while honoring the groove, the conversation, the game, and the women who made jazz a social music.

What to Expect
This event will be “up in the club” with cabaret-style seating. Planning on dinner before the show? Check out restaurants in downtown North Adams or find a nosh right here on campus: Lickety Split Cafe, Gramercy Bistro, Bright Ideas Brewing, and A-oK Berkshire Barbeque.
