With the high likelihood of lightning on Saturday evening, we will be moving the Jeff Tweedy Benefit Concert on Saturday at 8pm inside to the Hunter Center.

Due to capacity restrictions, a Sunday 4pm show has been added. Please contact the box office with questions and to purchase tickets.

The one and only Jeff Tweedy takes the stage, joined by special guest and Wilco bandmate Nels Cline, for a concert benefiting MASS MoCA’s Joe Thompson “Yes” Fund. All proceeds directly support the museum’s mission to champion artists and art-making in all forms.

As Tweedy says of MASS MoCA’s founding director Joe Thompson as he departs after 33 years at the helm:

“Apart from being an inspiring, incredible human, Joe’s involvement over the years has had a massive influence on the dreamy wonderland we’ve all come to know as Solid Sound Festival. It’s hard to picture it happening without him. But it’s pleasantly easy to picture the festivities to come thanks to Joe’s generous and enduring contributions. We’ll miss him. He leaves big shoes to fill, no doubt. Thankfully his footsteps have made a loving and well-worn path. I’m confident they’ll be easy to follow. Thank you, Joe!”

“Yes” Fund Hero Ticket
“Yes” Fund Hero ticket holders receive access to a pre-concert cocktail reception with MASS MoCA founding director Joe Thompson, a preferred viewing area in front of the stage, where chairs will be provided, and museum admission. In honor of Joe’s life’s work building a place where artists can dream big, all proceeds from this concert benefit the Joe Thompson “Yes” Fund, directly supporting the museum’s mission to champion artists and art-making in all forms. The cocktail reception will start at 6:30pm in Jennifer Trainer Thompson Hall in B6: The Robert W. Wilson Building.
