We’re doubling in size beginning May 28, with a celebration to mark the monumental expansion and MASS MoCA members get to see it first.
Join us in the morning for muffins and mimosas and explore 130,000 square feet of interior renovations that feature work from artists Robert Rauschenberg, Louise Bourgeois, James Turrell, Jenny Holzer, Laurie Anderson, and Gunnar Schonbeck (Bang on a Can). Additional artists to be shown in B6: The Robert W. Wilson Building include Spencer Finch, Dawn DeDeaux, Lonnie Holley, Mary Lum, Barbara Ernst Prey, Janice Kerbel, Joe Wardwell, and Sarah Crowner.
Welcoming remarks happen with museum director Joe Thompson and Mayor Richard Alcombright at 12pm, just as we open the doors the building.
