Dan Zanes, the Grammy-winning Springsteen of the pre-teen set, dives headlong into the music of iconic American folk and blues legend, Huddie William Ledbetter, best known as Lead Belly — whose catalog includes standards like “Goodnight Irene,” and “Midnight Special.” Special guests from Zanes’ forthcoming Lead Belly record, (Smithsonian Folkways, fall 2016), fill out the show.
