B6: The Robert W. Wilson Building Highlights Tour
Focus on highlighted exhibitions throughout MASS MoCA’s Building 6. In Thumbs Up for the Mothership examine Lonnie Holley’s trash-to-treasure assemblage. Louise Bourgeois’s beautiful and twisting sculptures present the chance to discuss psychology. Also featured are Laurie Anderson’s charcoal drawings that tell the amazing story of her dog, Lolabelle. Finally, end with Jenny Holzer’s thought-provoking redaction paintings exploring modern wars.
Buildings 4, 5, and 7 Highlights Tour
Explore highlights from MASS MoCA’s rotating and semi-permanent galleries. Challenge expectations of abstract art in the Building 4 exhibition In The Abstract which offers tour stops to colorful mixed media works. Stimulate the senses in the Building 5 exhibition Liz Glynn: The Archaeology of Another Possible Future by touching, smelling, and hearing art in giant caves made of pallet crates. Finally, Sol LeWitt: A Wall Drawing Retrospective in Building 7 tempts the mathematical mind with geometric, vivid, and precise drawings on the wall.
Sol LeWitt Specialty Tour
Spend this tour diving into the imagination of conceptual artist Sol LeWitt. The most basic elements of art—line, shape, and color—run around 105 sprawling walls. This tour highlights a few wall drawings spanning across LeWitt’s 38-year career.

How is the truth created or skewed in contemporary America? Join the Art = Truth tour to delve into the work of Dawn DeDeaux, Lonnie Holley, and Jenny Holzer, who look at issues of climate change, race relations, and war to present varying ways of understanding and expressing ideas about our world.
